[Update] Over 99 Percent of All Apple Stores Now Open

Apple Store Covent Garden Gove

In a press release flagging the upcoming availability of new devices, Apple mentioned that over 99 percent of its retail outlets are now open. Given the fluctuations during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, this marks a rather significant moment. It comes as we mark the 20th anniversary of the company’s first shop welcoming customers.

Almost All Apple Stores Open

The Mac Observer has been regularly updating this article to help keep track of what Apple Stores are open. On March 1st, for the first time in almost a year, all U.S. Apple stores were open. Hopefully, there will be no need to report on further closures in the future. Even as things return to something approaching normal, it is worth checking what services your local retail location is offering as it does differ depending on the situation and regulations. Even in places that are technically open those are really the only limited services available, such as the ability to book Genius Bar Appointments.
