A new Apple Center will open on September 17th, 2005 in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, according to a report by AME Info, an English-language publication serving the Middle East. The store will be 140 square meters, located in the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai.
Apple Centers are third party Apple retailers, this one owned by Arab Business Machines, Ltd. Like Appleis own corporate Apple Stores, the Apple Center will offer training sessions, and the opening festivities will include the opportunity to win an iPod every hour.
Elias Abou Rustom, General Manager of Arab Business Machines told AME Info, "We are delighted to introduce the iApple Centeri concept to Dubai. Apple Retail Stores have met extensive success around the world and we expect to mirror the international popularity in Dubai as well.
"The concept store will definitely be unique in terms of unmatched customer service, product offerings and other defining features that will make every visit memorable. From in-depth product information to giveaways, the Apple Center will surely reflect Appleis high standards of quality and aesthetics."
