OpenOSX announced the immediate availability of OpenOSX Office 2.0 in Tuesday. The new version of the Microsoft Office-compatible business productivity suite is Universal Binary, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It also added Gnucash for personal and business financial management.
The upgrade replaced SodiPod with Inkscape for creating vector-based graphics, added database support to Gnumetric, and more. This version of OpenOSX Office includes AbiWord 2.4.6, Gnumeric 1.7.11, Diagram 0.96.1, Gnucash 2.2.1, and Inkscape 0.45.
OpenOSX Office 2.0 is priced at US$30, and is available for download at the OpenOSX Web site. Upgrades from previous versions cost $15.
