Adobe followed up its Monday Creative Suite 6 release with its Creative Cloud launch on Friday. Creative Cloud offers online storage and collaboration, and also includes full access to all of the Creative Suite applications as part of a monthly subscription.
Adobe launches Creative Cloud app subscription service
Creative Cloud also includes Adobe Muse and Adobe Edge, which aren’t available outside of the subscription service. Muse is a website design app that doesn’t require any coding skills, and Edge creates web animations with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
Creative Suite 6 includes Adobe’s Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Flash Professional, Fireworks, Audition, SpeedGrade, and more.
Creative Cloud also offers website hosting, integration with the Adobe Touch apps for the iPad, updates to the CS6 apps and early access to new features, Adobe Typekit Web fonts, and more.
Creative Cloud subscriptions cost US$49.99 a month with a one-year commitment, or $74.99 on a month-to-month basis. Current CS3, CS4 and CS5 users are eligible for a $29.99 a month special, too.
Muse is available as a stand-alone subscription, too, at $14.99 a month.
